Carrying on The Kolling Legacy

My name is Vincentt Mowry. I got my start working at the Kolling Pharm eight and a half years ago as a pheasant setter for hunts in the wintertime. Over time I got more involved in daily chores and I eventually found my passion.

I was eighteen when it really clicked. It was wintertime and there were a few litters of pups on the ground at once, and a cute little runt from Mia's litter caught my eye. I fell in love with the little guy. He was eager to see me every single day, and I formed a strong connection with him, and I named him Winston. Looking back at that moment, everything changed. I didn't realize it for years after, but Winston lit a fire inside me that still burn to this day.

On July 1st of 2025, almost a full year ago, I was given an incredible opportunity by Devra and Gary Kolling, to take the lead on the breeding program that they started. I am beyond grateful for their trusting of me with something that they have spent over a decade building with care, wisdom, and purpose. Everything that I have learned to get the program to where it is today is because they took the time to teach and invest into me, and for that I will be forever grateful.

I'm continuing their legacy, honoring them the best way I know how, and creating a legacy that will hopefully outlast me one day. The third generation for the program has already begun with Prince, Piper, Sunny, and Holly, and there will be more to come over the decades.
